How it works

Landing in a new city is the moment a trip can go wrong, so we take it off your hands. With The Black Key Arrival, a driver meets you at Kigali International Airport and brings you to the villa, where your concierge or the house manager welcomes you. It is included, not quoted, for stays of three nights or more at Amahoro, in Kibagabaga, and at Urugwiro, in Kacyiru.

For shorter stays and at the other villas, airport pickup is still available at any hour, arranged by the concierge for a fee quoted before you confirm. Send your flight number once it is booked; if the flight changes, tell the concierge and the pickup follows it.

Good to know

Pets are welcome at every villa. An invoice in your company's name is available on request. Short stays only: the villas receive guests for holidays, trips and celebrations.

In this group: Amahoro, a duplex villa in Kibagabaga with the feel of a penthouse, a pool and a fire pit for the evenings. Stays of three nights or more at Amahoro include The Black Key Arrival, the airport pickup.

Urugwiro, a villa set in landscaped gardens in Kacyiru, about five minutes by car from the Kigali Convention Centre, sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms, three of them en-suite, with a duplex principal suite. Is the whole villa ours?

Yes. The villa is booked to your group alone for the stay, with a house manager on site and daily housekeeping.

Which payment methods do you accept?

US dollars, Rwandan francs, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and common cryptocurrencies are all accepted. The details come from the concierge after your dates are confirmed.

Can someone meet us at the airport?

Yes, at any hour. Amahoro and Urugwiro are about 20 minutes away by car.
