Each of our residences is booked to one group at a time, behind its own gate, with a house manager on site, security and housekeeping every day. There is no lobby and no one else staying: bedrooms for everyone, a kitchen and a table for long meals together, a garden for the afternoons, and evenings with music and celebrations, at a volume that respects the neighbours.

The kind of stay
A family with young children
Room to play outside, and a house that is ready when you arrive. Netflix is ready on the TV for quiet evenings with the children. Mention the children's ages in your inquiry.
A private pool and a lawn for long afternoons, the Red Room for film nights, and four en-suite bedrooms, so parents and children each have their own.
2,000 m² of lawns and gardens inside the gate, an infinity pool, and a second lounge for quiet time.
A very large private garden with an outdoor playground, a high chair, and air-conditioned bedrooms with mosquito nets. The airport is 10 to 15 minutes away, which is easier after a long flight with children.
Children are welcome at our villas; please keep an eye on young ones at the pool. Need a babysitter? Nkeng can look for one for you, on request.

Questions about family and group stays
How many guests can each villa welcome?
Amahoro and Urugwiro each sleep up to 8, Irebero up to 7 and Ikaze up to 4. Each villa is booked to one group at a time, so the whole house is yours. For a larger group, several villas can be booked together, and Nkeng arranges it.
Is the whole villa ours?
Yes. The house, the garden and, where there is one, the pool are for your group alone. Nothing is shared with other guests.
Is a villa suitable for young children?
Yes. See "A family with young children" above for the houses with a playground and a high chair, and mention the children's ages in your inquiry so the house is ready. Children are welcome at our villas, and Nkeng can look for a babysitter for you on request.
Can a private chef cook for the whole group?
Yes, on request. Meals are cooked in the villa to everyone's tastes, and for a larger group a second or third chef joins. Please ask in advance; the chef's fee and the groceries are charged separately and quoted before you confirm.
Can we celebrate a birthday or a family reunion?
Yes, the villas are made for it: music, long dinners and celebrations are welcome, at a volume that respects the neighbours. Nkeng can arrange a birthday or celebration set-up and a dinner cooked in the villa, for a fee.
Can you pick the whole group up at the airport?
Yes, for any stay, for a fee, quoted for your group before you confirm. At Amahoro and Urugwiro, pickup is included for stays of 3 nights or more (The Black Key Arrival).
Do we pay a deposit?
No deposit is needed. Nkeng confirms the total in writing before you arrive, and payment can be made on arrival. Bank transfer, card and mobile money are accepted.
