Why a private pool

A private pool changes the shape of a day in Kigali. Mornings start with a swim before the city wakes up, afternoons stretch out on the loungers between trips, and in the evening the water is lit and quiet. Nobody else uses it: each villa is booked to one group at a time, so the pool, the terrace around it and the garden are yours.

The three villas with their own pool sit in different parts of the city. Amahoro is in Kibagabaga, with a long pool beside the house and a fire pit for the evenings. Urugwiro is in central Kacyiru, with an infinity pool in 2,000 m² of gated gardens. Irebero is in the Rebero Hills, in the south, where the pool sits in tropical gardens with a hot tub next to it. All three are good bases for families and friends who want the afternoons at home. Children are welcome; please keep an eye on young ones at the pool.

Good to know

Three of the four villas have a bedroom without stairs for older guests, and children are welcome. Rates are in US dollars; you can pay in USD, in Rwandan francs, by mobile money or in crypto. Tell the concierge your dates, the number of guests and the occasion, and the villa is ready when you arrive.

The villas with a private pool

The houses that fit, one by one.

Amahoro, Kibagabaga's villa of four suites, two living rooms, a pool and a cinema room, sleeps up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms, each with its own terrace. Amahoro's long pool runs along the villa and is lit at dusk, with a fire-pit bench beside it.

In this group: Urugwiro, a villa in central Kacyiru whose double-height living room becomes a private cinema at night. Urugwiro's infinity pool reflects the villa and the sky, with a covered lounge above it.

Irebero is a villa in Rebero with two full kitchens, an outdoor kitchen and long terrace dinners. Irebero sleeps up to seven. Irebero's pool sits within the tropical gardens, with the hot tub beside it.

By private car: Amahoro, Urugwiro and Irebero are about 20 minutes away by car. The concierge arranges the pickup at any hour.
