The event

The Kigali International Peace Marathon now runs over two days: a 10 km Run for Peace on the Saturday, then the half and full marathon on the Sunday, with the start and finish at Amahoro Stadium. Runners need sleep, good food and a quiet place to recover.

Amahoro, Urugwiro and Ikaze are each about ten minutes by car from the stadium. A private chef can cook a runner's dinner the night before, a massage therapist can come to the villa after the race, and Irebero's spa room is free to use.

The 2026 edition ran from 13 to 14 June. As of October 2026, the 2027 dates have not been announced; the concierge will confirm them.

Good to know

Pets are welcome at every villa. An invoice in your company's name is available on request. Short stays only: the villas receive guests for holidays, trips and celebrations.
