How it works

Cooking a country's food is a good way to remember it. On request, the concierge arranges a Rwandan cooking class at the villa: a cook comes to the house, and the group prepares a meal together, then sits down to eat it.

Irebero, with two full kitchens and an outdoor kitchen, and Amahoro, with its outdoor kitchen by the fire pit, suit a class for a larger group. Tell the concierge the number of cooks and any dietary needs; the class and the fee are confirmed before you confirm.

Good to know

For a larger group, several villas can be booked together, and the concierge arranges it. Airport pickup can be arranged at any hour; the villas are about fifteen to twenty minutes from Kigali International Airport. Everything the concierge arranges is quoted before you confirm.

Arranged by your concierge

Ask the concierge for a private chef, groceries stocked before you arrive and a Kigali city tour: each is arranged for a fee quoted before you confirm. The concierge stays in touch before you arrive and during your stay.

The villas it suits

Irebero is a villa in the quiet Rebero Hills where the wine bar becomes the group's private lounge after dark. Two full kitchens, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and outdoor terrace dining keep the group together over long meals.

Amahoro is a four-suite villa in Kibagabaga where the evenings move from the pool to the fire pit and on to the cinema. Amahoro sleeps up to eight. Evenings move outdoors to the fire pit and the outdoor kitchen, and end in the cinema room.
