Getting to Kigali from Thailand
Bangkok and Kigali are about 7,953 km apart in a straight line. In Bangkok, the time is five hours ahead of Kigali's.
From Thailand, fly Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa (ADD) to Kigali. Another option: fly Qatar Airways via Doha (DOH).
Thailand has ten international airports, including Suvarnabhumi (BKK), Don Mueang (DMK) and U-Tapao–Rayong–Pattaya International Airport (UTP).
Whether you set off from Samut Prakan, Mueang Nonthaburi or Chon Buri, the concierge plans the arrival around your flight.
Entry for citizens of Thailand
Citizens of every country can get a visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and at all land borders, or apply online before travelling. The visa fee does not exceed USD 50 for a single entry or USD 70 for multiple entries. Rules can change: check the official page of Rwanda's Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration before you travel; the online application is on Irembo.
Money and payment
You will be travelling from the Thai baht (THB) to a stay quoted in US dollars; payment is accepted in USD, RWF, mobile money or crypto.
Once your dates are confirmed, the concierge sends the details; never pay to details found anywhere else.
Cash is also accepted on arrival at the villa, in US dollars or Rwandan francs, with a written receipt from the concierge.
