How it works

A traditional dance performance turns a welcome evening or a family celebration into something the guests remember. On request, the concierge arranges a troupe to perform at the villa, in the garden or on the terrace, for a homecoming, a gusaba or a company evening.

The size of the troupe, the length of the performance and the fee are confirmed before you confirm, and the timing is kept considerate of the neighbourhood. Urugwiro's 2,000 m² of gardens and Amahoro's terraces give a performance room to breathe.

Good to know

Three of the four villas have a bedroom without stairs for older guests, and children are welcome. Rates are in US dollars; you can pay in USD, in Rwandan francs, by mobile money or in crypto. Tell the concierge your dates, the number of guests and the occasion, and the villa is ready when you arrive.

On request, the concierge arranges help with a gusaba, a celebration set-up and a Kigali city tour, with the fee confirmed before anything is booked. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

The villas it suits

Urugwiro is a villa set in landscaped gardens in Kacyiru, about five minutes by car from the Kigali Convention Centre. Urugwiro sleeps up to eight. At night the living room becomes a private cinema: a 100-inch screen, with lights that change colour.

Amahoro is a duplex villa in Kibagabaga with the feel of a penthouse, a pool and a fire pit for the evenings. Evenings move outdoors to the fire pit and the outdoor kitchen, and end in the cinema room.
