When the whole group travels from the US, the villa is booked as one house: Amahoro, Urugwiro, Irebero and Ikaze. The concierge can book several villas together for a bigger group.
For the US, the flight plan is one connection: most travellers connect through London Heathrow (RwandAir), Paris CDG (RwandAir) or Brussels (Brussels Airlines).
From the airport the drive to the villa is about 15 to 20 minutes, at any hour of the day or night.
Time difference: Washington is seven hours behind Kigali in January and six hours behind in July.
Citizens of every country can get a visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and at all land borders, or apply online before travelling. The visa fee does not exceed USD 50 for a single entry or USD 70 for multiple entries.
Stays are quoted in US dollars, which is also the currency of the US, so there is nothing to convert. You can pay in US dollars (USD), in Rwandan francs (RWF), in crypto, such as Tether (USDT), with MTN MoMo and with Airtel Money.
Expect rates from from $200/night for the whole house.
Payment details come only from the concierge, after your dates are confirmed.
Cash is also accepted on arrival at the villa, in US dollars or Rwandan francs, with a written receipt from the concierge.
Amahoro, Urugwiro and Irebero each have a bedroom without stairs; Ikaze's bedrooms are upstairs.
Each villa is booked to one group at a time, so the whole house is yours.
To feed and move a group, the concierge arranges daily housekeeping, laundry, private chef and groceries and VIP airport fast-track and meet and greet, each quoted before you confirm.

For a group the first question is room, so the villas are in order of how many they sleep, then by what the group can share outside.
We begin with Amahoro, a private villa behind its own gate in Kibagabaga, a quiet residential part of Kigali. Amahoro's long pool runs along the villa and is lit at dusk, with a fire-pit bench beside it. Evenings move outdoors to the fire pit and the outdoor kitchen, and end in the cinema room. The living room and the Red Room are air-conditioned; the bedrooms have modern ceiling fans. Amahoro sleeps eight in four en-suite bedrooms: one king and three queens.
Second on this page, Urugwiro, a gated villa in Kacyiru with a duplex principal suite and a second lounge for a quieter corner. Urugwiro sleeps eight in four bedrooms: one king and three queens; three are en-suite and the fourth uses the hallway bathroom. The principal suite is a duplex with its own lounge. A house manager is on the property, housekeeping is daily and a security guard is on duty around the clock.
Then Irebero: a four-bedroom villa on 1,000 m² of tropical gardens in Rebero, minutes from the city centre. Two full kitchens, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and outdoor terrace dining keep the group together over long meals. Irebero sleeps seven in four bedrooms: one king, two queens and one single; three are en-suite and a full guest bathroom is downstairs.
Another house, Ikaze, a two-suite villa in Niboye, fenced, gated and watched over by a security company day and night. At Ikaze the living room becomes the Red Room after dark, with Netflix ready on the TV. Ikaze's garden is very large and manicured, with a shaded patio for four and an outdoor playground. Ikaze sleeps four in two air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, one with a king bed under a canopy and one with a double bed; a half bathroom is there for guests.
“All in all the staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and has daily house cleaning.”
“It felt like a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and privacy.”
