Getting to Kigali from the Faroe Islands
Kigali lies about 7,761 km from Tórshavn, in a straight line. Tórshavn changes its clocks: two hours behind Kigali in January, one hour behind Kigali in July.
From the Faroe Islands, most travellers connect through London Heathrow (RwandAir), Brussels (Brussels Airlines) or Paris CDG (RwandAir); your concierge plans the connection.
Departures from the Faroe Islands leave from Vágar Airport (FAE).
Entry for citizens of the Faroe Islands
Citizens of every country can get a visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and at all land borders, or apply online before travelling. The visa fee does not exceed USD 50 for a single entry or USD 70 for multiple entries. Before you fly, confirm the rule for your passport on the official immigration page; online applications go through Irembo.
Money and payment
Your home currency is the Danish krone (DKK); the stay is quoted in US dollars, and USD, RWF, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and crypto are all accepted.
Payment details come only from the concierge, after your dates are confirmed.
Cash is also accepted on arrival at the villa, in US dollars or Rwandan francs, with a written receipt from the concierge.
