How it works

Travelling with a dog means planning the hours it cannot come with you: a gorilla trek, a wedding, a dinner in town. Pets are welcome at every villa of the collection, and on request the concierge arranges a pet sitter to keep yours company at the villa while you are away.

Tell the concierge about your pet, its routine and the hours you need; the arrangement and the fee are confirmed before you confirm. Ikaze's very large private garden and Urugwiro's gated grounds give a dog room to move.

Good to know

Pets are welcome at every villa. A private chef cooks in the villa on request, with a second or third chef for a larger group. The concierge can look for a babysitter on request.

Arranged by your concierge

Your concierge can arrange a babysitter, daily housekeeping and a private driver, each quoted before you confirm. The concierge stays in touch before you arrive and during your stay.

The villas it suits

Then there is Ikaze, a gated house in Niboye whose living room becomes the Red Room after dark. A very large, manicured garden and a shaded patio with seating for four come with the house.

Urugwiro: Kacyiru's villa of gardens, an infinity pool and a dedicated office, a short walk from cafés and embassies. A house manager is on the property, housekeeping is daily and a security guard is on duty around the clock.

“All in all the staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and has daily house cleaning.”

Questions (FAQ)

When should I ask for a pet sitter?

As early as you can, ideally with your booking; the concierge confirms the details in writing.

Does a pet sitter cost extra?

It is not part of the villa rate. The concierge confirms the details and the fee first.

Is it a private villa or a shared one?

Private. Each residence is booked to one group at a time; there is no lobby and no one else staying.

Which payment methods do you accept?

US dollars, Rwandan francs, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and common cryptocurrencies are all accepted. The details come from the concierge after your dates are confirmed.

Is airport pickup available at night?

Yes. Flights land at all hours and the pickup follows them. Ikaze is about 15 minutes away, Urugwiro about 20 by car.
