Getting to Kigali from Italy
About 5,186 km separate Rome from Kigali, as the crow flies. In January, Rome is one hour behind Kigali; in July, on the same time as Kigali.
From Italy, fly Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa (ADD) to Kigali. Another option: fly Qatar Airways via Doha (DOH).
Italy has 27 international airports, including Rome–Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci (FCO), Ciampino–G. B. Pastine (CIA) and Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP).
From Milan, Naples, Turin or anywhere else in Italy, one message to the concierge starts the plan.
Entry for citizens of Italy
Citizens of every country can get a visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and at all land borders, or apply online before travelling. The visa fee does not exceed USD 50 for a single entry or USD 70 for multiple entries. Rules can change: check the official page of Rwanda's Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration before you travel; the online application is on Irembo.
Money and payment
Euro (EUR) is not used for the booking itself: villas are quoted in US dollars, payable in USD, Rwandan francs, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money or crypto.
Details are shared by the concierge alone, in writing, once the dates are confirmed.
Cash is also accepted on arrival at the villa, in US dollars or Rwandan francs, with a written receipt from the concierge.
