The stay in brief

Looking for a pool of your own in Kigali? Three villas have one: Urugwiro, Irebero and Amahoro. The villa is booked to your group alone.

Getting to Kigali

On the flight side, RwandAir flies non-stop from Dar es Salaam (DAR) and Zanzibar (ZNZ), so there is no connection to plan.

Send the flight number once it is booked, and the pickup follows it; the drive to the villa takes about 20 minutes.

Between Dodoma and Kigali the clocks differ: Dodoma is one hour ahead of Kigali.

Entry for Tanzania: Citizens of East African Community partner states receive an entry pass free of charge on arrival, for a stay of up to six months.

Price and payment

Pay for the stay with MTN MoMo, with Airtel Money, in US dollars (USD), in Rwandan francs (RWF) and in crypto, such as Tether (USDT). The rates are in US dollars, not TZS.

The lowest rate is from $399/night (about 1,050,000 TZS), converted at the rate of 20 October 2026 (1 USD = 2,640.08 TZS). The confirmed price is always in US dollars.

The concierge confirms the total in writing and sends the payment details after your dates are set.

Cash is also accepted on arrival at the villa, in US dollars or Rwandan francs, with a written receipt from the concierge.

Good to know

Low-key celebrations are welcome at every villa, as long as the neighbourhood is not disturbed.

Pets are welcome at every villa.

Amahoro, Urugwiro and Irebero each have a bedroom without stairs; Ikaze's bedrooms are upstairs.

Everything the concierge arranges is quoted before you confirm.

Arranged by your concierge

Around the pool, the concierge can arrange yoga and personal trainer, grocery pre-stocking, private dining with wine pairing and currency exchange, each quoted before you confirm.

The villas, in order for this stay

Villas ranked by their pool setting, Urugwiro first: the water, the terrace and the garden around it set the order.

First on this page, Urugwiro, a Kacyiru villa with terraces over the city, a pool and a barbecue in the gardens. Urugwiro's infinity pool reflects the villa and the sky, with a covered lounge above it. Urugwiro has a barbecue in the gardens of its 2,000 m² grounds.

Then Irebero: a hillside villa in the Rebero Hills with a pool and hot tub, a spa room, a private gym and a wine bar. At Irebero the outdoor kitchen and barbecue sit beside the terrace dining area, on top of two full kitchens indoors. Irebero's pool sits within the tropical gardens, with the hot tub beside it.

Then Amahoro: a gated villa in Kibagabaga with a private pool, the Red Room cinema and terraces that look across the hills. Amahoro's fire pit sits in a sunken lounge by the pool, lit after dark. At Amahoro the outdoor kitchen and barbecue sit close to the fire pit, so dinner and the evening happen in one place. Amahoro's long pool runs along the villa and is lit at dusk, with a fire-pit bench beside it.

“It felt like a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and privacy.”
Vania O. · Urugwiro · September 2026
“We will be back, that is for sure. Rare to find a property that meets all your requirement but this is a pristine development with a lovely pool.”
Akinbamidele · Amahoro · August 2026
